About ToolyStation

What this site is

ToolyStation is a free collection of tools that run right in your web browser, with no install or sign-up. The tools currently fall into three groups:

5 PDF and image tools: Merge & Arrange PDF, Compress PDF, Images to PDF, Batch Watermark and the Gesture PDF Viewer
5 AI and fun tests: live and photo emotion detection, AI First Impression, the Animal Face Test and personality quizzes
3 rhythm and tempo tools: BPM Tapper, Tempo Ear Test and BPM Detector

Why I built it

Even simple jobs like merging a few PDFs or watermarking photos often mean uploading files to someone's server, installing software or creating an account. Modern browsers can handle this kind of work on your own device, so I wanted tools you can use straight away without sending your files anywhere. Fun browser experiments, like expression detection and rhythm games, are collected here too and work the same way.

Who runs it

ToolyStation isn't a company or an organization. It's planned, built and maintained by a single independent developer. New tools and bug fixes are done by one person, so please bear with me if a fix takes a little while.

How your files are handled

PDFs, photos, music files and camera video you use with the tools are processed inside your browser and are never uploaded to the ToolyStation server. Output files are created in your browser and downloaded directly.
Program files such as the PDF reader (pdf.js) and the face and hand tracking models (face-api.js, MediaPipe) are downloaded from public CDNs (unpkg.com, cdn.jsdelivr.net) the first time you use them. Your own files are not sent along with those requests.
There are no accounts, and nothing you do with the tools is stored on a server. When you close the tab, your work is gone.

Ads and cookies

To support the site, it shows Google AdSense ads. Google may use cookies to serve those ads. See the privacy policy for details.

Good to know

All tools are free and provided without a guarantee that results are accurate. Keep a copy of the original before working on important documents. Results from the AI tests and quizzes are for fun, not a scientific assessment.
